When I watched the Harris/Trump debate, I saw Kamala Harris easily manipulate Donald Trump and get him babbling incoherent nonsense about Springfield, Ohio, residents eating dogs and cats. His rally speeches are no better. They’re stream-of-consciousness rants only tenuously connected to the real world.
I think Trump’s reality is whatever he invents in his imagination. That’s a dubious basis for running a country.
Is somebody who is easily manipulated, who seemingly makes up his own reality, who cannot keep on topic, and who is apparently incapable of telling the truth, the person we want negotiating our foreign policy with people like Vladimir Putin? I don’t think so!
Dick Cheney is the last person I would expect to vote for a Democrat, but he sees Trump as a great peril to the country. He’s going to vote for Kamala Harris. When the threat of Trump is passed, we can go back to worrying about the relative merits of conservative or liberal policies. For this election, we’ve got to vote for Harris.
